This figure was created for "The first trimester human placenta is a site for terminal maturation of primitive erythroid cells.", (Van Handel et al., Blood 2010).

As this was out of my primary field of study, this figure involved a lot of input and collaboration with the authors of this paper in order to ensure that I accurately depicted their story.
